Spring Classes

Our Spring Adult Christian Education classes are designed to assist in your spiritual growth by offering a variety of options to fit your interest and learning style. Classes will begin March 30 and end on May 4. We hope to see you there!

Listening for God
Last year’s highly acclaimed class, Listening for God returns! This time the course will focus on Volume 3 of the series and as before will utilize contemporary American literature as a means to understanding the role of faith in our society. Books will be provided at a nominal cost as well as, we will have several copies of the book that can be borrowed on a first come first serve basis. Janice and Charlie Pazar have graciously agreed to serve as course moderators.

Real Kids, Real Faith
Hope you will be able to join us for our next Adult Christian Education parenting installment, based on the book called Real Kids, Real Faith by Karen Marie Yust. In lieu of having a course moderator, we are suggesting that class attendees take turns leading this six week course. If you are interested in acquiring a book, leading a class, or additional information contact Anne Waring at 272-7425 or anne@gslparish.org.

Izzie, Jerry and Zeke: Prophets for Today
Ron DelBene will lead a four-week exploration of Old Testament prophets from whom we can profit. Their calls by God and their messages to the people of their times are welcome news for us today! Isaiah, Jeremiah and Ezekiel come to Memphis!
